Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  As many of you will know, the only time we will be caught running is to the bar for the next G&T, so when we came up with the idea for a running challenge we decided it would be worthwhile to use our suffering to raise money for charity.  As serving members of the Royal Air Force, we couldn’t fail to be amazed by the excellent work the Jon Egging Trust does.  JET was set up in memory of Red Arrows pilot Jon Egging who tragically lost his life at the Bournemouth Air Festival - their aim is to support young people who find themselves in difficult circumstances, to overcome adversity and achieve their full potential.  JET makes a demonstrable difference to young lives: 327 students have participated in the Blue Skies programme and a further 8,885 young people have been reached through their Inspirational Outreach initiative.  With our hearts set on doing what we could to support the JET team, our challenge evolved to ‘9 Runs for 9 Reds’ and we’ve listed the races we plan to undertake below.  Every £30 raised allows one young person to attend a JET session with a £1000 enabling a young person to participate in their 3 year Blue Skies Programme.  All donations are greatly appreciated and we hope we can suffer through a few blisters to contribute to the positive difference JET makes to the lives of youngsters across the country.
