Build a Mosque/Masjid for Mehar and Islam Ullah Beg

Assalamoalaikum!
Important update: Alhamdulillah the Mosque has been built and the pictures are in the update from 19th December 2023 thanks to Allah Most High and your donations and help. Jazak Allah khairan to everyone who donated. Please note that initially the Mosque/Masjid was for Sudan but due to the current war situation, we have chosen Niger (there are some different costs to make the Mosque extras and the Mosque capacity is expected to be 70 people).
We want to reach out and invite you to support a great cause. We're raising funds to build a Masjid/Mosque with a capacity of 100 people in a rural area. The holy month of Ramadan is the perfect time to give back, so we'd be grateful if you could make a donation.
The Masjid will be built in the name of two special people: Mehar Beg (my grandmother) and Islam Ullah Beg (my grandfather), who were both passionate about charitable causes and helping people. Our aim is to create a Sadaqa Jariya (a continuing charity) in their memory, and your contribution can help make that a reality in sha Allah.
Whether you're able to donate £5 or £500, your support is greatly appreciated. If you pay or have paid tax in the UK, please select the gift aid option when donating. This will increase the value of your donation by 25% and help cover administrative costs and other projects.
Around 10% of donations are used to raise further funds on other Muslim Hands projects, so your contribution will have a ripple effect that goes beyond this one initiative in sha Allah.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a positive impact. We appreciate your support and generosity!
There is a need for mosques in the rural areas, so communities especially the elderly and young children can access them more easily. Having a mosque in their locality will give the rural community, a way to come together, learn and pray in sha Allah.
The Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said, ‘Whoever constructs a masjid for Allah, Allah will construct a house for him in Paradise’. (Bukhari) He (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) also said "Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a reward like one who did it." (Muslim) so spread the word and in sha Allah you will also get the reward of donating and people praying in the Masjid.
A masjid is at the heart of any local Muslim community. It provides a place for its worshippers to pray and contemplate as well as being a hub for educational programs and other everyday services. The role of the masjid is to help people learn more about Islam and to nurture their moral and spiritual development.
By building a masjid you will not only earn the reward of providing a community with a house of Allah, but your Sadaqah Jariyah will continue giving benefit for generations to come in sha Allah.
A bit more about the my grandparents. They would give charity to many of the cleaners in Makkah al-Mukarramah and al-Madinah al-Munawwara frequently. I remember that my grandfather would buy from the poor sellers outside the Mosque in order to support them, even if they are charging a high price. My grandmother asked me to give sweets to kids in Makkah. She was generous and would give workers (cleaners of rooms) in Makkah and Madinah money every day. When we reached the train station in Makkah, she got a porter to push the trolley and later paid him and offered to buy him dinner at the restaurant in the station. She also used to help many poor families in Pakistan for many years by paying them from her own money and by asking others to pay. Only after her passing away did we start realising how many people relied on her help. She also used to ask me to buy my Qurbani via Surti Orphanage and Madrasah but I didn't know that she was the chairwoman of that. The following incident sums up her trustworthiness even about the smallest of things: Before her fatal illness, she said to return the straw that she borrowed from her friend the day before, Subhan Allah.
May Allah Most High grant Mehar Beg and Islam Ullah Beg the highest Jannah, Jannat al-Firdaws, without any punishment and account, make them be with the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) in Jannat al-Firdaws, make their graves gardens from the gardens of paradise, make them cross the Ṣirāṭ (Bridge) swiftly and easily, shade them under the shade of the Arsh (Throne) when there will be no shade except Allah's, make them drink from the Hawd, grant them the intercession of the Prophet Muhammed (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam), make them from the shuhada, protect them from the punishment of the grave, protect them from the hardships of the day of Judgement, and protect them from Jahannam, Ameen!

The below figures are if the Masjid is build in Sudan:
£5,350 is being raised to build the Mosque at a basic level and then other amounts to add extras (depending upon how much is raised) so In sha Allah the amount raised above the £5,350 will go towards various of the extra Mosque features.
