Story
As a charity, the RNLI depends on our donations so it can go on saving lives and keeping us and our loved ones safe. Currently it is a difficult time to hold fundraising events that can bring in the much needed donations.
I am choosing to do this in order to help raise money for my local West Kirby & Hoylake RNLI, as I see how their commitment impacts our lives with much admiration.
RNLI lifesavers are our lifeline. They’re the lifeboat crews who provide 24-hour search and rescue right around the UK and Ireland. The lifeguards keeping watch on 240 of the busiest beaches in the UK and Channel Islands. And the RNLI safety teams and educators working tirelessly to stop people getting into trouble in the first place.
I am choosing to walk this years Virtual London Marathon, I have chosen the route along the Wirral Way and back so that friends can join me at whichever stage they choose and for however long in order to keep me company. ALL are welcome.
Starting from the start of the Wirral Way, West Kirby (opposite the concourse) at 7.30am Sunday 4th October 2020.
Thank you.
