Allan was my swimming coach from a young(ish) age when I did competitive Swimming and Water Polo through Worthing Swimming Club.

I was fortunate enough to get to know him and his lovely family. Allan was great man and made a difference to many people's lives.

I know that when Allan in the care of St Barnabas House both he and his family were treated with compassion and dignity. This made a difference to him, his quality of life in his last days and to his family.

I can see how important their care has been in helping Allan's family come to terms with their loss, the loss of a very special friend, a father and a husband. For this reason, I want to help them in their fundraising quest by completing the 7 mile walk in memory of Allan and the difference that he made to other people.

Hopefully, in turn and with your help, we can help St Barnabas House continue to care and assist families who sadly find themselves in similar position to Allan and his family.
