On the 17th June 2013 my lovely dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer and sadly on 17th July 2013 he left us for a better place but thankfully no longer suffering or in pain.

During his final days with us he was cared for by the amazing team at Canterbury Pilgrims Hospice. All the staff were so attentive and ensured that dad's final days were peaceful and he was lovingly cared for.

On Friday 13th September me and mum are taking part in the 10K "Moonlight Walk" and will be walking from Herne Bay to Whitstable and back again...and it looks like it will be a wet one all night!!
