Story

Hi,  thanks for visiting my page.

On Saturday 3rd September 2022, I will take part in a 13 mile circular walk around Glastonbury to raise money for Alzheimer's Society.

After the 2 years we just got through, I felt like I wanted to do something different and exciting, challenge myself and raise money for a good cause. So when I heard about Alzheimers Trek 26, I knew I had to get involved.

Having been around people who have dementia, I know the devastating impact this disease can have on families. I hope raising money for Alzheimer's Society means people affected by dementia and their carers can get the support they need, new treatments and hopefully eventually even a cure can be found, so in the future less people have to see their loved ones succumb to this.

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

Please leave me a donation, however small. Thank you.
