In life I have faced many challenges, But nothing like this. In 2018 I was diagnosed with cancer, my whole life stood still and my immediate thought was I was going to die. 

Was I scared, yes but not for me, the fear was for my son Owen, there is  just him and I, we are a team and although we have an amazing family I knew this would break his heart, I needed to be there to help him grow, become a young man, achieve his goals and be his mum. No child should ever feel the worry and fear my boy felt. 

I also needed to be there for my parents, grandparent, brother, family and friends. 

I wanted to live for my family and Me!!

The Clatterbridge cancer centre along with my consultant Dr Karen Whitmarsh a team of nurses, radiographers, everyone in that centre I went on a journey of radiotherapy, chemotherapy and brachytherapy and I have survived, to this day all of those people still support me and I want to give something back. I want to help another family survive and have a future like I have. 

No matter the amount, please help me give somebody else the support they need and the gift of life.
