On 19th September, 2015 I will be taking part in the Surrey Three Peaks Challenge - covering 26 miles and Surrey's three tallest hills (Box Hill, Leith Hill, and Holmbury Hill). I am putting my legs through this in the hopes of raising money for Brake, the road safety charity.

On 3rd August, 2012 my wonderful long-term partner Graham was hit by a car on his way home from work and very sadly killed. The horror of this continues to haunt me, but it isn't about me. It's about Graham - a beautiful, kind, generous man who didn't get to live beyond the age of 29. It's about every single one of the people that die on the roads in the UK every day.

Brake is an excellent charity that not only offer support to those bereaved but also offers support to those involved in non-fatal collisions that turn their lives upside down. Brake, which celebrates its 20th year this year, also campaigns to make the roads safer for all users in the hope that the devastation caused, the lives cut unnecessarily short, can be prevented.
