As you know I have had a bit of a rough ride recently, but I am literally thrilled to be on the other side of this physically and emotionally taxing time in my life, a 3rd diagnosis of breast cancer, and all of the grueling treatment that has gone with it. 

Throughout my treatment I walked every every day and every day since, and it has been one of the most important aspects of helping me both mentally and physically to cope and come to terms with my ordeal. 

I had planned to do this walk before my diagnosis and because of Covid it got rolled from 2020 (when as it was I was doing chemotherapy) to 2021. How fortuitous in fact because its been the most amazing focus to help me build back up my physical strength and to manage my mental health during this time. I have developed a  passion for walking and I have no doubt that this will be the first of many long walks that I now do going forwards.
