Story
Keble will be tackling the Mourne Wall Challenge on the weekend of 8th-10th April to raise money for the MondoChallenge Foundation, an international development charity promoting education in earthquake affected areas of Nepal, and The Gatehouse, a shelter nearby Keble running meals six nights a week for Oxford's homeless population.
I'm fundraising for both these charities because:
Firstly, I believe sustainable, grassroots international development that creates skills and makes a lasting impact is so important. Education is fundamentally the best way to do this in a way that brings skills and industry, and not only tourism, to the area. MondoChallenge Foundation is doing this work so well, and deserves Keble's support.
Secondly, there are so many who are homeless in Oxford, and often it feels like an overwhelming issue. The Gatehouse does amazing work to bring together Oxford's homeless and poorly housed population, providing warmth, food, computers, and the occasional art workshop to those seeking a safe place.
Thank you for reading! Any donation at all would be so appreciated.
Lots of love, M xx
