Hello lovely people! Thank you for visiting my page. I am as surprised as you that I decided to train for this! I’ve run for years but this distance is way beyond what I have ever attempted before. When I signed up I could never have imagined I’d have to train 3 times over!!
I am raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be immensely grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK, but sadly, every day, hundreds of people (like my Dad) lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures.
Lee had lifesaving heart surgery 9 years ago and his ‘ticking’ reminds me every day of how lucky we are; he is my number one fan ❤️🐻
My Stepdad Nigel has had more than his fair share of lifesaving heart procedures and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without his guidance and support.
My best friends Dad had an absolute heart of gold and he also needed heart surgery, so I’m running for Chum too; he would definitely think I was crazy doing this! 😊
I am thankful every day for what the BHF are able to do and I know you will agree that they are a very worthy cause; we all have a heart!
For me, there was no question about which charity to run for; it’s for my family ❤️ For every heartbeat ❤️
I’m running in memory of my Dad, the legend that was ‘Chum’ and a wonderful family friend; ‘poor old’ Bob 💙
Every penny really does help so if you are able to spare just a little, I would be forever grateful 🙏🏻
Thank you so much 😘; wish me luck!! 🏃🏻♀️🍀
