Alice's Hair Donation

Melissa Sheldon is raising money for Little Princess Trust

Alice's Hair Donation · 19 October 2021

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Off her own back, Alice decided she wanted to grow her hair to be able to donate it to those children who needed a wig due to having lost their hair due to the medical treatment they were undertaking. Many times over the course of the last couple of years I asked her if she wanted it cut and she always said no. Now, she has decided the time is right to have it cut. We have managed to grow 13 inches of hair. She never waivered and was determined to do this. Her appointment is booked for Tuesday 19th October at 12.00

It would be lovely if you could support her and this wonderful charity.

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
