Story
Hi Everyone!
At the beginning of September this year I am going to be taking part in a sponsored walk around the Wild Coast of Southern Africa to raise much needed funds for various organisations throughout the area in conjunction with the organisation ACTSA (Action for Southern Africa) who I have been volunteering with since the beginning of this year as a book packer. Whilst packing and unpacking books to be shipped to Africa is a valuable and worthwhile cause in assisting individuals over there with education and learning I still feel the need to do more. This being the main reason for taking part in this particular walk. There are four organisations which the money raised is given priority to and these are the Vukani Old Age Service Centre, Bethany Place of Safety, Blythswood Institution and the Masimanyane Women's Support Centre. All integral parts to various stages of life.
Having committed to participating in the walk, I have also committed to raising £2000 in sponsorship money. And this is where all you lovely people can help! Anything you can give will be so, so, so appreciated and I hope you believe I can do this even if not just for my own personal growth but most definately for the sake of others.
