Hi everyone!

My name is Melissa Donaldson, and I am participating in the 50k Walk Challenge for Colostomy UK. It is a charity close to my heart as I had my ostomy formed on the 21st February 2017. 

I had suffered from Colitis for quite a while. I was so ill that without my ostomy I might not be here today. It upsets me that sometimes Colitis, Crohns and rectal/bowel Cancers are not diagnosed in time and unfortunately people do pass away from this. I was very lucky so I want to fundraise to collect money for more treatment and therapy for people with ostomies. It is a life changing experience and some people really do struggle with it. 

Colostomy UK is a fantastic charity and words cannot describe what they do for people like myself. Any donations are welcome, it does not have to be much as every little counts!
