We have an incredible group of #WishHeroes who will be taking on the 2022 London to Brighton Cycle. Together, we have the power to light up the darkness for critically ill children.

Story

Oh god here we go again!!!!!! London to Brighton 2022!

After completing the ride in 2018 for The MacMillan Nurses Charity, its been in the back of my mind to do the ride again but never got around to it, strange as the day after the ride I put the bike in my shed and that's where it stayed for 34 months!

The bike came back out in 2021 where I completed the Kent Messenger 50k bike ride for Cavell Nurses Charity.

Sitting at work my friend and colleague Vic inquired if we were working on the 11th of September 2022, little did I know he was going to ask if I fancied doing the ride this year? It took a couple of days to make my mind up. Of course I said yes otherwise this would not be written Ha.

Again I'm going to do it for charity, This year I would like to do it for the Make a Wish UK Foundation, a very worthy Charity.

Make-A-Wish UK grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. Granting their wish provides seriously ill children with hope for the future, strength to cope and resilience to fight their condition. They’re given quality time away from the daily realities of living with their condition and given the chance to make magical memories they can treasure forever – whatever their future may hold. We want to transform the lives of 1,000 children this year by granting their One True Wish!
