Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Every year, around 150,000 people in the UK have a stroke. That’s one person every five minutes - so please use your next five minutes to make a donation.

Stroke is the third most common cause of death in the UK. The Stroke Association do amazing work, not only providing care and support to sufferers and their families, but also research into how the brain can heal and repair itself after a stroke, if this natural repair process can be harnessed it provides real hope that more people can recover fully after a stroke as never before.

So please give generously, thank you.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
