I am raising money for Imran Khan's Cancer Appeal Charity which aims to provide free vital Cancer Care services. These services are highly important for patients who do not have the funds to pay for their life changing treatments. Zakat and Sadaqah(charity) can be used and accepted when helping those who are indigent and have and have no money to pay for their treatments.

Within 27 years, Shaukat Khanum Hospital has changed the face of cancer care in Pakistan, providing vital medical aid to the neediest patients through two JCI accredited hospitals in Lahore and Peshawar. Now with your Sadaqah Jariyah(charity), we’re bringing free cancer care to Karachi, Pakistan’s largest city and the 12th largest globally.

Currently, many cancer sufferers have to travel days using unsafe transport methods to reach a hospital that can provide affordable treatments. Despite the hardship of travelling, they are unable to afford the required treatments. The goal is to build multiple hospitals in key locations so that access to healthcare is possible. Help us close the care gap in Pakistan.

To help raise this money, I will also be taking part in a challenging trek across Pakistan Gilgit. A region of breathtaking nature, Gilgit-Baltistan is home to Fairy Meadows, Nanga Parbat and Mount Rakaposhi. All these locations will be on our route as we make our way to our final destination at Hunza Valley after our descent form Diran base camp. 

Despite the above locations being known as one of the most beautiful places in the world, it will also be challenging for me physically and mentally. I will be trekking over 3000M above sea level which will also increase to 4000M. The weather will start to get colder and oxygen levels will decrease.

I will be trekking for 10 days and spend the last 2 days visiting the Shaukat Khanam hospital in Lahore. This will give me a chance to share how all donations are contributed towards Cancer treatments.
