Menai Fundraising Group For Marie Curie is raising money for Marie Curie
Story
Every year our group of local volunteers run and take part in multiple Great Daffodil Appeal collections on the street and in supermarkets across the local area.
This year our collections have been cancelled due to Covid restrictions and the amount of daffodil boxes we take to the local shops will be severly restricted. The funds we usually raise (between £12,000- £15,000 annually) from this activity support the local Marie Curie Nursing service so that people can be cared for in the comfort and safety of their own homes. More people than ever before are in need of our Marie Curie services, at a time when our fundraising has come to a complete hault!
