RAISING AWARENESS THROUGH SPORT

Burnsall Classic Fell Race

20th August 2022

---------------------------------

Entrant

Christopher Greenwood

---------------------------------

Previous Burnsall Classic races:

 1987 (Aged 18)
1996 (Aged 27)

------------------------------------

Chris returns after 26 years as a 53 (nearly 54) year old who is at least 2 stones overweight, totally unfit and has an arthritic knee (and other old injuries if anyone would care to listen.)

We hope to raise some money for the cause, luckily its not results based and all he has to do ;-) is run to the top of Burnsall Fell, back down and complete the distance.

Please donate for a very good cause.

Thank you

MNUFC raising awareness through football

Meningitis Now United FC has been borne from a desire to raise awareness of meningitis and septicaemia due to a relative who has recently passed away from the disease.

We have teamed up with Meningitis Now and they have kindly supported us and helped set up Meningitis Now United FC.

We are aiming to raise money and awareness through football.

MNUFC 1 - 5 Angel Inn

-----------------------------------------

1st July 2018

Prairie Sports Village

Kick Off : 1pm

------------------------------------------

Angel Inn played the better football initially and took the lead through a brilliant 20 yard strike but as time went on MNUFC grew into the game and equalised through a Kori Fox opportunist goal.

Both teams had chances but it was Angel Inn who retook the lead mid-way through the second half and in what was a tight game played in sweltering conditions Angel Inn grabbed another three goals in the final ten minutes as MNUFC tired.

Angel Inn were a very good side with bags of experience and quality all through the team and a great test in the start to our fixtures.

Both Gregg Hodson and Declan Heavican were exceptional in midfield but the MOM award was awarded to scorer Kori Fox who linked up with fellow forward Conor Hodson intelligently.
