A violin for Anas · 31 January 2015

SchoolMe main objective is to promote and support education in Tunisia by providing scholarships and other support to deprived and promising students. SchoolMe believes small actions make a big difference in the lives of young people and trusts the power of education in changing people’s destiny.

Story

Since 2007 my late dad and I have been Anas's mentors, helping with the necessary fundraising to get him first to the prestigious Yehudi Menuhin school (who fully sponsored him for 5 out of 7 years!) and now to the guildhall school of music and drama who is giving him a scholarship towards fees. He now has to give back the violin he's been using to the school and get one of his own to match his talent and professional ambitions. These don't come cheap and the budget needed is £20K to £25K for a violin that will also not lose value with time.... In the hope that this cause will resonate with you!
