When I was younger, I had big plans. I wanted to live in a big city and change the lives of inner-city kids.
I wanted a large family but didn't want to start having kids until I was 30.
I got married at 19 and had our oldest 2 1/2 years later....
I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 31.
I was so thankful we had our kids before diagnosis.
I prayed to see our oldest go to high school and our youngest to kindergarten so they would remember me.
Recently, I got to see our oldest become a dad!
I am so incredibly grateful to be here.
