Cake Sale for Breast Cancer Now

Three friends, one very important cause — and hopefully lots of cake!

Myself and two lovely friends, Meryl and Katherine, are holding a cake sale on Friday 28th August from 2–4pm, at The Ardagh on Horfield Common, raising money for Breast Cancer Now.

Breast cancer has touched all three of our lives in the last 12 months. Meryl and I have both undergone surgery and treatment and, thankfully, are now out the other side. Throughout it all, Katherine has supported us every step of the way. She has also sadly lost a dear friend to breast cancer, making this cause particularly poignant for all of us.

We feel incredibly grateful for the wonderful treatment and care we have received from the NHS. Alongside that, Breast Cancer Now has been an invaluable source of information, advice and support, helping us navigate what has been a pretty life-changing year.

So we’d love to give something back and help raise funds to ensure that this support continues to be available to everyone affected by breast cancer.

So please come along, buy some cake, have a cuppa and support a brilliant cause.
