Story
My wife passed away nearly 18 months ago from metastatic breast cancer and it's been a tough few years. Since I'm lonely and talked this over with my daughter, I decided to use an unusual method for finding new love. I would send someone I've never met, a message in a bottle.
So as I drive around the country, sending messages in bottles into the tides going out, looking for replies and maybe someday, something more. It's going to be a fantastic road trip and although people have offered to help, we've managed to fund absolutely everything.
Where you'll have my undying gratitude is if you can give generously to these hardworking heroes - at my local hospital and all round the UK.
Macmillan needs your fundraising or contributions even more these days, because money is so tight in the NHS. Even a few quid might make more of a difference than you'd think, so strapped are they for basic equipment.
