We are taking part in the second Lady Mayoress’s Sleep Out at the Guildhall Yard on 16 March 2023. Aiming to highlight the rising number of homeless people in the City and to raise vital funds for The Lord Mayor’s Appeal and The Pret Foundation, The Lady Mayoress’s Sleep Out 2023 will give people like us the chance to ditch our warm beds and get a taste of what it is like for thousands of Londoners sleeping rough every night. 

According to Crisis UK, 45% of people experiencing homelessness have been diagnosed with a mental health issue which rises to 8 out of 10 people who are sleeping rough. By supporting The Lady Mayoress’s Sleep Out, you will help charities such as The Lord Mayor’s Appeal’s partner charity MQ Mental Health research to help us to understand mental health. Tackling hunger, poverty and homelessness in the UK. 

 The Pret Foundation ensures that Pret’s freshly made unsold food reaches people who need it most, supports people into sustainable employment at Pret and awards grants to grassroots homeless charities.
