Story

I’m supporting professor Daniel Swartz in his COVID Bike Ride of Hope. Professor Swartz began riding his bike on the Peavine Trail back in May 2020 and hasn’t skipped a day since! He’s using his daily ride to raise funds for the Yavapai College I AM YC Student Emergency Fund – with a goal of reaching 365 consecutive days.

As a member of the Yavapai College Honors Program, I’ll be joining Professor Swartz on his ride Friday, February 19.

I AM YC is a student-led association dedicated to the encouragement of philanthropy among faculty, staff, and students at Yavapai College to promote student success. The Emergency Fund is designed to alleviate an immediate need when a student is in financial crisis, due to job loss, unexpected home or car repairs, childcare costs, to name a few.

You can help make a difference today! If you know me, you can donate here on my page, or check Professor Swartz’s personal fundraising page at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Daniel-Swartz.
