Pakistan is currently experiencing extremely heavy rainfall, resulting in catastrophic flash flooding across the country. Almost 1,000 people have lost their lives, while approximately 1,300 people are injured

Pakistan Floods: More than 33 million people have been displaced Pakistan is currently experiencing extremely heavy rainfall, resulting in catastrophic flash flooding across the country. According to local authorities the death toll since mid-June has reached more than 1,500+ with 12,000+ injured and millions displaced

Islamic Relief Pakistan is responding, providing vital humanitarian aid.

Police officers/staff from Tower Hamlets & Hackney are doing a sponsored walk on Wednesday 19th October 2022 to raise essential funds to support those in desperate need.

Officers and staff will be walking 12 miles in total starting at Ilford Police Station and ending at the Pakistani Embassy.
