The Metro Bank team in Sheffield have decided we would like to take on a new challenge. The plan is to complete the equivalent distance between the Metro Bank Store in Sheffield, to the most northern boundary in Yorkshire (The River Tees). The distance is 114 miles and we plan to cover this distance in a single day on June 5th 2020. Weather that be through walking, cycling or running. We will be setting off from our home locations, separately completing a route and plan to reach some of South Yorkshire’s landmarks and town’s along the way. 

We’d like to support Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity because Brain Tumours can affect anyone, at any time. They are the single biggest killer of the under 40's in the UK. Every week approx 15 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour in Yorkshire. Research has been underfunded for brain tumours, with current treatments nearly 40 years old. The charity aim’s to fund world-class research here in Yorkshire to find treatments and a cure. Whilst they do that, they will also provide support to people living with and affected by brain tumours, emotionally, practically and financially for as long as they need them.
