We are #TeamMetro and we need your help to 'kick cancers butt!'

This year Metro are supporting Cancer Research UK by entering #TeamMetro in three different Race for Life events.

And this year’s campaign slogans sum up exactly how we feel about the project: ‘Cancer, we’re your worst nightmare.’ Because this year cancer, ‘We’re coming to get you.’

Three Metro journalists: Vicki-Marie, Jennifer, and Polly are taking on the challenge and will be competing in the Pretty Muddy®, 5k and 10k races respectively. While each of the girls have very different reasons for taking on this challenge, they all have one goal in mind: to kick cancer’s butt.

Their aim is to raise awareness and as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK. Remember, the cure is in the research, so the more money we raise, the closer we will be to finding a cure.
