The Metropolitan Police Commissioner's Christmas Tree Project · 16 October 2015

Young Londoners are full of ambition and aspiration. But too many are living challenging lives, where experiencing violence and exploitation is a regular occurrence. By working alongside young Londoners, through one on one support and group work we’re supporting them to reach their full potential.

Story

If you would like to donate to a specific area, just enter your borough in the comments and a child in your chosen area will receive a present.

This Christmas, give a present to child in your borough who might not otherwise receive one.

From 10 November 2015, take a gift tag from the tree outside your local borough's police station or visit the virtual tree online and pick your area: www.met.police.uk/christmastree

If you would prefer to give money to provide presents, you can leave your donation on this page.

The donations are managed by Safer London, an independent charity helping young people live free from violence and crime.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
