READ International addresses the lack of educational resources in schools in Tanzania, creating libraries and supporting young people in skills and capacity development. To date we have sent 1.5 millions books to East Africa and created 94 secondary school libraries.

Story

Heyaaaaaaa,

First of all, thanks for sparing the time to visit our just giving page!

Basically we have thirty six hours to get as far away from Queen Mary University of London as we can without spending a penny! The challenge begins at 9am on April 2nd and ends 9pm April 3rd!

YAY! SO FAR WE'VE MADE OUR TARGET!
Thank you all so much for all the donations, PLEASE KEEP THE DONATIONS COMING and keep supporting READ international!
Read International supports the improving of schools in East Africa through sending educational resources from the UK. Mainly books, but their donations range from science equipment, stationary to tonnes of sports kits! They have also supported the renovation of dozens of school libraries to help improve access to their book donations! It is a cause that we feel really passionate about, so please check out the link below to find out more:

Please sponsor us, we appreciate even the smallest donations, how about a penny per mile?! We have set ourselves a challenge to get to Thailand (people last year got to Fiji) but we'll try our best and even if we end up in Wales (worst case scenario) hopefully we'll have done our bit for Read International. You never know how far the powers of persuasion will get you, we are practicing our sweet talking skills!

PRETTY PLEASE sponsor us!

lots of love, Rachel, Kat & Mez
