Can you help people living with dementia in South Staffordshire?
Your donations will help us to purchase robotic cats and dogs for our members.
Living with dementia can be confusing, isolating and frightening. - This is why we are launching this very special appeal.
MHA Communities South Staffordshire support over 800 older people, many of whom are living with Dementia. We have specialist services designed to improve the health and wellbeing of older people living with Dementia including a day care service twice a week where the robotic pets will be predominantly be used.
Covered in fur, the cat purrs and nuzzles its head against the person stroking it, whilst the dog will bark and respond to motion and touch. Proven to improve the wellbeing, communication and behavioral aspects for people living with dementia.
Even if you yourself cannot donate, you can still help by sharing our appeal far and wide. Please help us support people living with dementia, enabling them to live later life well.
