140 Years of History to celebrate during lockdown! A challenge …..

140 years ago, our partnership was one of 587 firms that joined together on 11th May 1880 to form the original Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

The past 140 years have been a time of incredible change and innovation, both within the partnership of MHA MacIntyre Hudson and the wider business community. We have built a strong and resilient business together and are enormously proud of all our staff, who strive every day to support our valued clients at this challenging time.

Whilst we didn’t expect to be celebrating our 140th anniversary in lockdown, we want to mark this special occasion and celebrate an incredible journey that has seen our business grow into the award-winning firm we are today.

So, with exercise during this period of lockdown being crucial to our mental health and wellbeing, and in the spirit of Captain Tom Moore’s recent endeavours, we have challenged staff and Partners to see how many times we can collectively clock up 140 miles by the end of the month, whilst raising money for NHS Charities Together! We have started the ball rolling with an initial donation of £140.

Staff can walk, jog or run and will send us regular updates on the number of miles completed with pictures of daily exercise routes (or treadmills), or screenshots of their activity trackers, or pictures of them in action!
