We provide suicide prevention resources to help prevent suicide in the UK

Story

Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide. Every week 125 people in the UK take their own lives. And 75% of all UK suicides are male. CALM exists to change this by offering life saving services, provoking conversation and bringing people together to reject living miserably. From advice on our site, through to free, confidential chats with our helpline staff, online or on the phone, we’re here for whoever needs us, every day. No matter what. £8 is enough to fund one potentially life-saving call.

In collaboration with Ri at https://www.diffplanet.net/ we have organised Music Helps Out to raise funds for CALM in aid of suicide prevention.

On the 15th of May 2022 at 1pm until 5pm, 'MHO' showcases aspiring and emerging artists for an afternoon of live music for a good cause at The Spice of Life, Soho, London. Including performances from talented Singer / Songwriters Sam Wilkinson, Ivy Pratt, Joslyn Plant, FFZ Soul Trio, Valentine and Eloise Viola. It is one not to be missed!

Limited tickets are available from:

https://www.tickettailor.com/events/musichelpsout/680097/

Ticket are £10 (plus booking fees) and all proceeds will be donated to Campaign Against Living Miserably CALM, Charity reg no 1110621 in aid of suicide prevention.

If you aren't able to make the event in London but you would still like to get involved and show your support for the charity and for these talented and inspiring young people who will be performing on the day please feel free to donate on here and share our story on social media.
