In June 2025, I have challenged myself to walk 26 miles on the Yorkshire Dales Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.

I have chosen to take on this challenge in memory of my amazing Grandad John, this is a charity that is close to home because after his diagnosis the charity supported my family during a tough time and is therefore close to my heart. Any donations to support this charity would be massively appreciated.

I'd be so grateful if you could help me reach my £500 pledge, which can pay for Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
