This year GUCFS are raising money for Refuweegee, a charity based in Glasgow, Scotland who aims to welcome newly arrived refugees and asylum seekers into the city with personalised welcome packs and vital support. Many refugees and asylum seekers have faced long journeys across many terrains in the search for a safe place to call home and have many stories to tell. The charity's slogan is "We're all fae somewhere", highlighting that wherever your origin, we are part of one community.
