On the 19th September 2021, myself and others will be walking 20Km across london for the MS society. I am a 20 year old university student who suffers with highly active relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis. For those who don’t know, MS is a progressive neurological disease with no cure. MS causes your immune system to mistakenly attack your nervous system. I have done fundraisers before, but this one is extra special to me as it’s in london - a place I often associate with my treatment. I’m being joined by my bestest friends and biggest supporters and I couldn’t be more grateful. If anyone wants to join my team just drop me a message on Instagram (@NotMyMS). I’m refusing to let MS control any more of my life, and I feel like the more awareness/money I can raise, the closer we are to finding a cure or life changing treatment 🧡.
