Story

What started off as a bit of fun to pass the time and keep fit during the COVID-19 lockdown has turned into an opportunity to raise some vital funds to go towards purchasing a "MAGIC TABLE"  for the residents of a local Cornish care home.

Blackwood House in Camborne is a 47 bed care home for people with dementia and residential needs providing 24 hour care 7 days a week. The reason we have chosen this charity is That Mia's mum has worked at Blackwood for the past 6 years and Mia has on previous occasions helped raise monies for their residents comforts funds.

Even though Mia is only 10 YEARS OLD she has taken it upon herself to turn this awful situation we all find ourselves in into something which can make a big difference by bringing a bit of magic to these residents lives by improving mood, reducing apathy and restlessness as well as increasing engagement levels.

I know we are all facing uncertain times ahead but if you can spare a couple of pounds or more Mia would be ever so grateful as will the residents at Blackwood House
