Thank you to everyone who took part or donated, fantastic amount raised and it will go to a great cause!

Hi, On Saturday 29th October I will be taking part in the Glasgow Fun Run in Bellahouston Park which is 5k. I am aiming to run the 5k in Boots with a 35lbs Bergen within a time of 24mins. I am trying to raise £250 to help support the amazing work that Marie Curie do and the care and support that they provided to my mother Margaret Amos in the final few weeks that she had before dying on the 5th October last year. It would have been her 60th Birthday on Saturday 17th of September and my family and I are still shattered that she is not here. However, for those of you who knew my mum, she was a figher so that is why I am making the 5k a little harder with weight and boots to pay a proper tribute to her memory and to all of those people who need the support of Marie Curie. I hope that you will support me in doing this and help those who need it most. I would also like to say a massive thank you to my fellow troopers and instructors at Alba Military Fitness who are going to give up their time to run the race with me, numbers are increasing daily so watch out for a large group of us on the day with our t-shirts, bergens and running with laden stretchers! All for a great cause
