Story
Unfortunately these days, everyone of us have and know friends and/or family directly and/or indirectly effected by one or more of the many different mental health hurdles we all seem to be facing.
Earlier this year I decided to do something challenging to myself in signing up for the Liverpool Marathon on Sunday 26th May to raise money for a cause that is very close to me in the Mental Health Foundation.
For the many people going through hard times with the various hurdles they face, I felt I would try and do my small bit in attempting to hopefully remove part the stigma attached to mental health whilst also challenging myself in running my first marathon. Thankfully the training since January has stayed on track(ish) hence why I am now launching this page with around three weeks to go.
As you may already know, The MHF is the leading mental health charity in the UK who provide excellent information around Mental Health, carry out great research whilst raising lots of awareness for people affected by the many Mental Health hurdles.
Any donations you could make would be greatly appreciated and will be going to a brilliant cause.
Thanks so much. Michael
P.S If you are about in Liverpool on Sunday May 26th, definitely try and get yourselves out to support the thousands doing both the full marathon and the half marathon around the city.
