Most of you will be aware of my involvement with both Acorn's and SJP Charitable Foundation.  By organising my fundraising in this way 100% of the money raised on this page will be forwarded to Acorn's.

Acorn's deserves support to leave their staff free to provide excellent care to children with life limiting conditions.  Kids are smart and know when adults are faking it.  Can you imagine constantly building strong bonds with children that you will have to say goodbye to?  I couldn't do that, so my tiny contribution is this instead.

Whatever is raised for Acorn's, St. James's Place Wealth Management will make a matched donation to the charitable foundation for distribution to a range of children's charities.  As such a £25 donation becomes £31.25 for Acorn's with Gift Aid added plus a further £31.25 matched funding to support other children's charities, making a total of £62.50.

Please be generous, please forward to a friend.  My objective is to attract sponsorship from 300 people.  When it starts hurting around mile 10 I plan to distract myself by remembering every one of you.  That should get me to the finish line...

At time of writing it is impossible to say with confidence that this event will definitely be happening on 4th July 2020 due to Coronavirus.  The fallback position will be to either run the event at a later date if postponed or to create an equivalent route on Strava to run instead.
