Since 2008, Swansea Bay has been saving the lives of Africa's most vulnerable children by carrying out training for local nurses. During 2019 and throughout the 2020 COVID pandemic, Drs Michael and Bethany Bryant have been serving in a paediatric ward as part of this link and have established a severe acute malnutrition treatment centre which has become exceptionally busy as a result of COVID-19. Even small donations can save a child's life from malnutrition, malaria and tuberculosis, all of which are worse as a result of COVID-19.
