Whether you're 18 or 82 there's a place for you on our team this September! Whether on your own or with friends, set yourself a challenge around the numbers 18 or 82 and help us transform lives in communities across the UK and Ireland.

Story

I'm doing something amazing this September as part of the 1882 Challenge to help Church Army feed the hungry, give shelter to the homeless and ensure the isolated and lonely are welcomed into community. Please could you donate a little or a lot to help Church Army raise £82,000 through the 1882 Challenge?

On the18th September I'll be cycling from my home near Maidstone to Church Army's Centres of Mission (COM) in Greenwich, Hackney, and Medway. The total distance will be 88 miles and, in the spirit of 1882, I will be stopping at each for 21 minutes; to say a few words about the organisation, to cheer on our amazing team and to take on refreshments (cakes).

I'd love it if you could support me in this challenge with your prayers, your money and, if you are local, why not join me for some of the ride (route details to follow). You could also come along to one of the COMs on the day to find out more about Church Army and grab yourself a free drink and cake.
