I am looking to raise a thousand pounds by not shaving between October and November for the London zoo. I have many happy memories there and am looking to give something back. 

 

I recently got an e-mail from the zoo telling me what money would do for the zoo:

·         £3 – Could keep one of our penguins healthy for a month

·         £10 - Could pay for a new hanging basket filled with herbs as enrichment for the giraffes

·         £25 – Could feed a gorilla fruit and vegetables for a week

·         £50 - Could pay for local field staff to work on gorilla or tiger conservation projects for a week

·         £500 – Could supply a motion camera to monitor animal populations and behaviour

·         £1,000 - Could build a well at one of our field bases in Indonesia
