Story
When I was diagnosed with Idiopathic (= no known cause) Pulmonary Fibrosis 3 years ago, it was a shock but I didn't feel very different. As it inevitably progresses, though, I find I can do less and less as my breathlessness increases and my muscles don't get enough Oxygen. Ironically, I can no longer do most of the Health Walks that I help organise!
But I can still walk, albeit slowly and in stages, in the beautiful Norfolk scenery and this seems the best way of setting a motivating challenge for myself while also raising much needed funds for the charity Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis.
To raise awareness of IPF, I shall be doing this during World Pulmonary Fibrosis Week, 15th - 22nd September 2019.
