This page is in memory of my uncle, Chris Sanderson, who sadly died on 27 October 2010 at the age of 84. 

He did many great things in his life, including serving as an officer in the Boys' Brigade and singing for 53 years in the bass section of the Halifax Choral Society. However the thing that most people will remember him for is that, for 66 years, he served God as a Methodist Local Preacher. He was accredited in June 1943 at the age of 17, and was still preaching regularly until just before he was admitted to hospital in August 2009. 

There was a service of thanksgiving for Chris's life in Wibsey Methodist Church on 11 November 2010, and £175 was raised for LWPT in a retiring collection.  

This webpage allows people who were not able to contribute at that time to make a donation in Chris's memory.
