Morecambe cross bay walk page

Morecambe cross bay walk · 9 July 2022
Michael and I have signed up for the cross bay walk at Morecambe for baby beat this July.
Baby beat and the Sharoe green unit has been a massive part of our journey. Starting right back in 2007 when Kaitlynn was born very poorly and started her life in NICU. She started off in intensive care and worked her way towards the door (if you know you know).
Our bereavement midwife took care of us after the loss of Millie. Sitting with us when our world fell apart and explained what came next. They continued to support us once we went home and when we discovered we were pregnant again. Our heads still very much in a storm of grief she took care of everything. Referring me to a service for pregnancy after late miscarriage, still birth and neonatal loss.
The rainbow team did everything to support me during pregnancy not just physically but mentally. Other than losing Millie, pregnancy after loss was the hardest thing I’ve done. With Maisie I suffered with pregnancy induced liver disease which resulted in her being delivered 3 weeks early. When the same situation arose my consultant safety delivered our baby by c-section at 37 weeks. Lauren, Millie’s midwife placed Emmie Faith into ours arms just less than a year after we left Millie with her.
Raising money to give something back to the charities who have supported us is very important to us. However this one in particular is close to hearts because it’s been part of all our girls.
So please follow us on on our journey to raise some money for them and if you can donate a little we’d appreciate it.
Love Kirst and Michael ❤️
