Story

I am retiring from work and to keep active must set myself some challenges. so as the best football team in the country (I know argumentative) has got promotion to the top flight of english football I will cycle to the first home game of the new season from my home in Goole not picked my route yet but about 200 miles and will do it over 3 or 4 days

On 6 July 2017, it was announced that Carl Ikeme was diagnosed with acute leukaemia so in honour of this great sports man I will do this ride for cure leukaemia.

for those that do not know Carl is wolves Number 1 goal keeper and also represents the nigeria national team

Carl has played at many clubs and a few will be on my route well Doncaster & Sheffield at least so support from these clubs/areas would be great.

I have no idea and I cannot imagine what it is like to be told you have such an illness, so in support of this charity I would like to raise loads of cash every little helps so please give what you feel you can all the pennies add up.

Now 62 years young a few years ago I had a stroke and that was followed by a triple heart bypass and my thanks go to the N.H.S who treated me with care and got me back on my feet, not sure how Carl feels but sitting and not being able to cycle for weeks during my recovery was terrible.

now I can cycle and do some good at the same time it seems correct to do it

once the fixtures are released I will confirm my route and date
