Hi everyone

I have agreed to don the lycra and whizz round the Manchester Velodrome, like a fat Bradely Wiggins, as part of a 24-hour race for charity later in the month.

The event is organised by Man City and is for a great charity, Football in the Community.  It looks to be an annual event if it goes well this year.

Any donations gratefully received.  Gift Aid will be reclaimed, and my target is to raise £125, which I'll match if I do.

I will also be racing in memory of my Dad who passed away last month.
