Story
On Sunday 10 September, I'll be lacing up my trainers and taking on the iconic Great North Run, covering the 13.1 miles from Newcastle to South Shields to raise vital funds for North East Autism Society!
This year I am stepping completely out of my comfort zone and I am going to (try) and run the Great North run. I am by no means a runner and have never done anything even close to this before however I am looking forward to the challenge.
I have chosen a Charity that supports children and young people with Autism as this is something that is very close to mine and my families hearts. My amazing little sister Olivia is autistic and it’s charities like this one that are important in supporting her and promoting acceptance of Autism.
My Fiancé, Hannah also works for this charity so there’s no backing out now!!
Wish me luck - any donations no matter how much will be greatly accepted. Thank you so much.
For more than 40 years, North East Autism Society has led the way in providing autism-specific care and education for children and young people across the North East of England. NEAS passionately believes that autistic children and young adults have significant skills and strengths, which can be developed throughout their lifetime.Thank you for your support.
