SSAFA  helped my family and me out in our hour of need. From 2008 I have suffered from Ulcerative Colitis which in 2013 ended my army career. As time went on my illness deteriorated and I needed a few major surgeries. It was at this time when SSAFA  really helped us out while I needed to take time out to recover.  Now that I have fully recovered I am wanting to raise funds as a way of thanks for all the help and support we received.
